What happens when people take control of their own food supply? For two years, filmmaker Markus Brandl followed Biotop Oberland eG in southern Bavaria with his camera. His documentary*More Than Vegetables—True ProsperityIs Built Together* tells the story of a cooperative that started small and today combines community-based agriculture, regional food supply, and solidarity-based economic practices.

From collective vegetable farming to a network of local producers and digital distribution channels, the film shows how shared responsibility can work in practice. And it asks: How can agriculture and regional food supply become more crisis-resilient and sustainable?

Following the film, there will be time for questions for the founders and the cooperative’s team.
