Meine Playlist mit Wigald Boning und Axel Brüggemann

A large orchestra, a guest, a sofa and a presenter! The Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra will present its new concert format for the first time on Saturday, September 28, in Hall 1 in the Tabakquartier with the talk concert "Meine Playlist". To kick off the concert, the orchestra will be joined by its favorite guest, Wigald Boning. In conversation with presenter Axel Brüggemann, he will talk about his life using five favorite songs.

Wigald Boning has been one of the most influential figures in the German entertainment industry for more than thirty years. With intelligent wit and original charm, he delights audiences of all generations as a television humorist, author and musician. Born in Wildeshausen, he grew up in Oldenburg and began his television career in the early 1990s with shows such as "RTL Samstag Nacht". This was followed by entertaining science shows such as "Clever! - Die Show die Wissen schafft" and numerous music programs such as "Hitgiganten" and "Privatkonzert - Hausbesuch bei ...". Boning has been awarded the Echo and the Bambi, among others, and has received the Grimme Prize, the German Television Prize and the Golden Lion. His thematic diversity and wide-ranging interests, his many years of experience in the entertainment sector and not least his love of music of various genres make him the ideal interlocutor for the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra for the premiere of "Meine Playlist".

"Meine Playlist" is a completely new talk and concert format in which the audience can get to know well-known personalities from the worlds of culture, sport and business in an unusual way. The talk guest chooses the music, which is played live by the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra and provides the basis for the topics of conversation: Songs from childhood? The first time you went to a concert? The soundtrack to great love? The sounds that accompany your job? Music that inspires, motivates or reminds you of special life events? In a relaxed living room atmosphere, the guests offer insights into their lives and thoughts through the music they have chosen and in conversation with Axel Brüggemann.
