Galerie 149 presents, September 19 through October 9, 2026
CY – AND NOW
With AND NOW, CY (Michael Jankautzky-Laging) presents an exhibition that explores attitude, the present moment, and inner movement. His works combine mixed media, stencils, collage, spray paint, and upcycled materials to create multi-layered visual spaces that bridge street art, pop culture, and social commentary.
Scraps of paper, fragments, and traces of earlier works are carried forward into new pieces. This creates an internal cycle of collecting, layering, destroying, and rearranging. AND NOW is less an answer than a state of being: a moment between tension, stillness, and possibility.
Opening reception: Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Artist talk: Friday, September 25, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
Hours: Wednesday through Friday, 3–6 p.m.
