MINA RICHMAN & BAND

Honest, queer, self-determined.
The 24-year-old singer-songwriter Mina Richman writes songs about life as a young woman, feminist themes and sings about falling in and out of love, not even making love and daringly crossing red lights.

Born in Berlin and raised in the small town of Bad Salzuflen, she took impulses from the big city into her nursery at an early age. Raised as a feminist by her father "by mistake" - as she once put it in an interview with Die Zeit - she used the famous Cher quote "Mom, I am a rich man" for her name as an artist.

On 06.05. her debut EP "Jaywalker", for which she received a demand from the Initiative Musik, was released on the Ladies&Ladys label. Her debut single "Bad Girls" made it into the rotation of DLF Kultur, as well as the Fresh Finds GSA and EQUAL GSA Spotify playlists. She also contributed her version of Billy Talent's "Red Flag" to the "Cock am Ring" sampler, a collaboration between Kochkraft through KMA and the Ladies&Ladys label, which gained media attention throughout Germany.
