Discover Japanese patterns through wood and collaborative design!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the geometry and repetition of traditional Japanese Monyō patterns and create their own coasters using pre-cut wooden pieces. By arranging, combining, and assembling the individual pieces, traditional design principles become the starting point for unique, contemporary creations.
The workshop is suitable for children ages 3 and up and can be enjoyed as a family activity. No prior experience with woodworking is required.
