With his new formation, Moritz Götzen has set out in search of his own voice as an improviser and has found it. Growing up in classical, pop/rock and punk music, then academizing in jazz, he tries to create an honest reflection of his musical history in his compositions. He does not shy away from kitsch or the aesthetics of ugliness and gives space to both the physical and intellectual aspects of music.
