Münchner Advent 2023

The Munich Advent is one of the most traditional and best-known Advent carols in the Alpine region. Every year, musicians and singers from Bavaria, Austria and South Tyrol get visitors in the mood for the Advent season with festive tunes and contemplative songs. You can hear the Laubensteiner Bläser (Chiemgau), the Wiesberger Dreigesang (Salzburg), the Duschlhof Gsang (Rottal, Lower Bavaria), the Ensemble Sabiona (South Tyrol, Chiemgau) and the choir and ensemble of the Münchner Advent (Bavaria, Salzburg, Upper Austria). With the new program "...und das Leben ist das Licht!", the performers, under the overall direction of Moritz Demer, director of the Wastl Fanderl School in Munich, combine current topics of our time with the Advent message.
