The quartet "Mundus" was founded in Cologne in early 2023 and is made up of four students from the Cologne University of Music and Dance .
With members from all over the world (Ming from Taiwan, Noori from South Korea, Aiden from Australia and Pin-Jyun from Taiwan), the quartet is a true melting pot of different inspirations and musical experiences. The group's mentor is Prof. David Quiggle, head of the string chamber music department at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. As former violist of the Casals Quartet and principal violist of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, he skillfully guides the quartet through the art and language of chamber music.

The individual members of the quartet have been finalists in various national and international competitions and their shared passion for chamber music, especially string quartet playing, has brought these four musicians together.
