On Sunday, 16.11.2025 at 6 pm in St. Stephan Sendling (Zillertalstr. 47) there will be a concert entitled "Nature, speak my soul" - with mezzo-soprano Gillian Crichton and Veronika Hudobivnik on the organ.

From Gabriel Fauré's tender discovery of nature as an expression of life and death in "Chanson d 'Ève", to Edward Elgar's magnificent sea paintings - the musicians invite you on a musical journey that allows you to experience the diverse expressive possibilities of nature.

Veronika Hudobivnik

Veronika Hudobivnik is an organist and harpsichordist from Slovenia whose musical journey has taken her through renowned training centers in Stuttgart, Munich and Nuremberg. There she was trained by renowned professors such as Bernhard Haas, Helmuth Deutsch, Jörg Halubek and Wiebke Weidanz.

Her musical successes include first prize at the TEMSIG competition in the organ category and participation in other international competitions (BACH competition). She was able to deepen her musical knowledge in master classes with Jean Claude Zehnder, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Andrés Cea Galán, Jean Guillou and other renowned musicians.

Gillian Crichton

Gillian Crichton studied musicology and violin in Belgium. She began her vocal studies at Cardiff University, which she continued at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Nicholas Powell, Iris Dell'Acqua and Ann Murray. She took part in master classes with René Jacobs, Marjana Lipovšek, Diane Forlano and Sena Jurinac.

This was followed by engagements at the Staatstheater Mainz, the Staatstheater Schwerin and the Theater Basel. She also sang Juditha in the extremely rarely performed opera Juditha triumphans by Antonio Vivaldi at the Schlossfestspiele Rheinsberg in 2002. Gillian Crichton was a member of the ensemble at Theater Ulm from 2004 to 2010.

Her repertoire includes numerous opera roles and she is also in demand as a concert and oratorio singer.
