Cross-generational narratives of Sintize and Romnja as a strategy of self-empowerment and criticism of racism
What is the exhibition about?
In this community-based, participatory project, young people between the ages of 12 and 24 interviewed successor generations of Sinti*ze and Rom*nja about their stories of life, persecution, resistance and suffering. The interviews were conducted according to high research ethical standards and from a critical racism perspective - always with the aim of strengthening voices from the community and making continuities of discrimination visible. The exhibition impressively presents the results of this work, honors the stories of the participants and invites them to engage in dialogue.
