Niederrhein Musikfestival: Into the Wild – Klang der Freiheit
In the organizer's words:
“Into the Wild – Sound of Freedom” is the new production of the 2026 Lower Rhine Music Festival. It is based on Jon Krakauer’s novel *Into the Wild* —the story of a young man who sets out in search of freedom and a self-determined life. Reading and music intertwine to form an artistic narrative: works by Bach, Bartók, and Keith Jarrett blend with songs by the Beatles to create a concert evening exploring new beginnings, nature, and the quest to find one’s own path.
Works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Béla Bartók, Keith Jarrett, Armenian folk music, and songs by The Beatles
