Now Wave: Beth B - Glowing

Artist and filmmaker Beth B has been creating transgressive and transformative works for over 45 years. B began her artistic work in the late 1970s in New York City as a provocateur in the No Wave scene. She has made over 30 films that move effortlessly between documentary, experimental and fiction, exploring themes such as mental illness, violence, transphobia and addiction. Today, under the title "Now Wave", Beth B is dedicated to the universality of intimate and painful experiences and the possibility of catharsis through creative expression. With "Now Wave: Beth B - Glowing", silent green is presenting the artist's early work and current works in the form of performances, an exhibition and a film series from August 15 to 25.
