The NRW Media Prize for Development Policy Engagement is a quality award for outstanding audiovisual online and social media campaigns from Germany on development policy cooperation, the United Nations' Global Goals for Sustainable Development and cooperation with the countries of the Global South. The award ceremony will take place after the conference Global Day. Stories for Change conference.
For the sixth time, the NRW-MEDIENPREIS honors outstanding audiovisual online content and social media campaigns that raise awareness of global challenges such as climate change, poverty, war and the 2030 Agenda with a great deal of creativity and commitment.
Together with the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia, three endowed prizes will be awarded. Previous winners such as Reporters Without Borders, Kindernothilfe, Viva con Agua and Terre des Femmes have impressively demonstrated the importance of strong and convincing communication.
