Wittus Witt – He works magic!

Wittus Witt is one of Germany’s best-known magicians. He is likely the only magician in the world to have regularly performed interactive magic live on television for nearly four years—interacting directly with viewers at home. Numerous books and publications have also made him known to a wide audience.

In his solo show, Wittus Witt combines subtle humor with astonishing and ingenious magic tricks. He reveals his biggest secret right at the beginning:

“I can’t actually do magic—you do.”

Because when something disappears in his act, he says, it’s actually not all that exciting: After all, he himself knows where it has gone. It becomes much more astonishing when the audience members themselves become part of the action.

Wittus Witt takes his audience on a journey through the millennia-old history of magic that is as entertaining as it is astonishing. And he performs a trick whose roots can be traced back over 2,000 years—a trick that amazed people even in ancient times and has lost none of its fascination to this day.
