Bear's most fervent wish is that his childhood friend Nikki will return his love. Then he comes across a mysterious object that magically causes Nikki to fall head over heels for him. But his dream is short-lived: the attachment of his beloved soon turns into a monstrous obsession, like a curse from which there is almost no escape.
