The American artist Robert Smithson coined the term Earth Art. However, it is less well known that he created some of his most important works in Europe - including in Oberhausen and Essen. The guided tour will give you an overview of the exhibition, some of which feature works of art that fill an entire room.

The guided tour on January 4 and 15, 2026 will be accompanied by a sign language interpreter and is aimed at deaf and hearing visitors.
