As part of this year's onCe Festival for Instant Composition, two performances by renowned artists will be shown every evening for a week. The program allows the long-standing tradition of dance improvisation, for which Freiburg is internationally renowned, to blossom.

"IMPRO-NTE" ( footprints )
The performance deals with the peculiarity of footprints to link past and future and to open up fantasies that are still being fulfilled in the imagination. Who left them? Where do they lead? What spirits do they carry? The interpreter's task is to identify and reveal the evidence.

"The Golden Egg" is a dance and theater solo realized in the immediacy of the present. "The Golden Egg" is matter and symbol. A journey in which every gesture and every word meet in a continuous exchange, creating a unique and unrepeatable experience in which the participating audience is an integral part of the creation itself.

About:
In 2018, the two performers met through Company Blu, sharing scenic and movement affinities. Their collaboration focuses on instant composition, characterized by a strong physical approach and dynamic improvisation.

The Golden Egg is a dance and theater solo realized in the immediacy of the present time. The Golden Egg is matter and symbol. About:
Originally from Italy, Paolo is a dancer specializing in the art of instant composition. Since 2012, he has been a member of Allen's Line, Julyen Hamilton's company. His way of staging performances defines a clear, unique and original poetics.

During the onCe Festival 2025, workshops for dance professionals, enthusiasts and interested amateurs will take place twice a day.

SNEAK IN Improvisation
As part of the OnCe Festival, we offer a moving introduction for spectators and anyone interested, free of charge and without registration

Lou Poirier (dance/acting) and Sabine Noll (choreography/dance mediation) will move with you to music, to words, to flying thoughts. How does the moment feel? Come along and try it out! Casual clothes, we work without street shoes.
