Open Air Screening – FSFD e.V. @ Filmnächte Dortmund
PICK OF THE DAY
You cannot miss this event.
In the organizer's words:
On August 21, the Freie Szene Film Dortmund will be a guest at the Filmnächte—with an evening full of images and encounters. At the Hafengarten during the Dortmund Filmnächte, short films meet cold drinks, the screen meets a zest for life, and cinema meets the neighborhood.
A selection of current short films will be screened—some with ties to the city, others completely independent of it. Diverse in style, theme, and perspective, just like the scene itself. The best part: Many of the filmmakers involved in the productions will be there in person that evening. If you’re curious about how the films were made, this is your chance to strike up a conversation.
Come by, discover what’s currently making waves in the independent scene, and spend a summery open-air movie night with us at the Dortmund Harbor.
A diverse program of current productions awaits you—works that have impressed us with their aesthetics, themes, and perspectives. From Dortmund, the Ruhr region, and the Rhineland, featuring everything from star-studded German casts to animated creatures.
