As part ofMiddle Ground, the open-mic night“Voice, Echo, and Location”celebratesthe power of the spoken word and the diverse ways in which literature conveys experiences of place, memory, and belonging. In dialogue with this year’s focus on literatures from the Himalayas, the evening brings together a diverse array of voices, languages, and forms of expression.
Moderated by Ken Yamamoto and accompanied by musical interludes by Pachakuti, the open-mic night invites the audience and participants to listen, exchange ideas, and forge new literary connections.
