Founded in 2016 by Christin Neddens and Sebastian Hoffmann, the 13-piece big band is dedicated to the great film composers of European and American cinema: Lalo Schifrin, John Barry, Quincy Jones - and most recently, Ennio Morricone in particular.
With fresh arrangements, cinematic density and a rousing energy, the top-class musicians (from bands such as Jan Delay, Meute and the NDR Bigband) bring legendary film scenes to life in the mind's eye - funky, sophisticated and full of surprises.
Since its foundation, the band has performed at festivals such as Jazz Open, Elbjazz, feelJazz and in numerous clubs in northern Germany.
Admission to the concert is free. The concert is part of the 10th Great Brass Day of the Norddeutsches Blechwerk, which will be held at the Hamburg Conservatory on October 11 and 12.
