Past Self (US/Korea)
In the organizer's words:
Presented by BLACK TIDE—dark wave, goth, post-punk, and more
past self is a K-goth band from Las Vegas, Nevada, consisting of Sung (vocals/guitar), æther (keyboards), and Spektor (bass). They use darkwave, post-punk, and ethereal soundscapes as their sonic medium. Drawing aesthetic inspiration from visual kei and heavily influenced by bands like The Cure, Molchat Doma, and Slowdive, they blend Korean and English lyrics to create what they call “K-goth.”
