The novel "Gabriele" by Paul Wiegler (1878-1949), now published for the first time, is a surprising novel find from the archive of the Akademie der Künste: a look through binoculars into "the world of yesterday". Sieglinde Geisel talks to editor Gernot Krämer about Paul Wiegler's novel, a literary portrait of the imperial and royal monarchy. Gabriele Radecke will provide insights into the Paul Wiegler Archive of the Academy of Arts, and Max von Pufendorf will read from the first published volume of the estate of the co-founder of the journal Sinn und Form.
