Our daily lives are heavily influenced by sight—what happens when we let our sense of hearing take the lead?
It’s dark. The eye loses its bearings. A voice emerges from the darkness, feeling its way through the hall, suddenly very close. A string vibrates, something crackles from the left—and where is that soft hum coming from? Sounds emerge, weave together, drift away, and return from a different direction. Proximity and distance dissolve; the ear perceives the space in an entirely new way.
What color does a sound have? And what shape? We glide into a world beyond the visible, listening deeply within ourselves—guided by mezzo-soprano Katharina Ruckgaber and the Munich-based ensemble der/gelbe/klang.
A concert evening that givesus a BREAK FROM THE EYE —and makes the ear our compass.
