Percussion workshop: Maloya - discover the rhythms of La Réunion

Immerse yourself in the pulsating rhythms of Maloya, the traditional music of La Réunion, which is now a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

In this percussion workshop, you will discover typical instruments of the island:
Bob roulèr, Kayamb, Pikèr, Sati and Djembe.
You will learn the basics of Creole rhythms and experience how African, Malagasy and Indian influences merge in the Maloya.

The workshop is open to everyone - beginners and the curious are very welcome. No previous knowledge required, just a desire for rhythm and discovery.
