Perspektiven queerer Migration und Flucht – Workshop mit @queeraspora
In the organizer's words:
SECURITY, IDENTITY, REFUGE — Perspectives on Queer Migration and Refugee Experiences
Workshop
“Security, Identity, Refuge: Perspectives on Queer Migration and Refuge” explores the specific realities of life for LGBTIQ* individuals with experiences of migration and displacement. At the intersection of gender and sexual diversity and migration/refugee experiences, queer migrants often face unique challenges: They navigate legal uncertainty, experiences of discrimination, and the understandable search for a place where they can live freely and safely.
In this workshop, we will explore the complexity of these experiences. We will examine existing barriers within our social system and discuss what reliable support might look like.
Led by Ali Tutar from Queeraspora e.V.
