Philosophical review of the year - capturing the year 2024 in thought

"Between Good and Evil - Philosophy of the Radical Middle" (Edition Körber) is one of the many titles penned by philosopher and presenter Gert Scobel. The year 2024 also stood between these two poles of our existence. Unfortunately, some of its events were also far beyond them.

What remains of the year 2024? What were its defining events, incisions and lessons? Looking back, what impulses for a better future need to be safeguarded, what hopes need to be rekindled, what illusions are better to say goodbye to? Or, following on from Gert Scobel's other areas of interest: What is the difference between truly wise and merely prudent action? How do we find new ways out of the constrictions of our present? Would meditation and mindfulness ultimately be more effective than political activism?
