PiNK walks - Stoffwechsel Vol.2

In the organizer's words:

Next up at our POP IM NORDKIEZ festival is *Stoffwechsel Vol. 2*, a performance somewhere between a catwalk and a fairy tale. Just like the first edition of this unusual project two years ago, it all began with a mountain of secondhand clothes left behind at the clothing swap at tik. From these pieces, characters and a story emerged in a world caught between individuality and isolation. It’s a fine line, and we’re walking it. But who will cheer when we leap over the shadows and community is born? How can we make this leap? Our story begins as a fairy tale and ends with an auction of our performers’ costumes for a good cause.

On stage: Louisa Henzeschulz, Amelie Hochgräber, Joanna Mensah, Juliane Schlichter, Philipp Suffrian, Elias Wolff

Text and Direction: Bea Beng
Text and Co-Direction: Nora Berger

Is the neighborhood dying out? Not a chance! For the second time, the tik is transforming into a four-day festival stage for music, theater, poetry, and true community spirit. That’s PiNK—Pop in the Nordkiez! The program, as colorful as the neighborhood itself, features concerts in a variety of musical styles, a fashion performance themed “Togetherness Instead of Loneliness” with secondhand outfits that will be auctioned off, a wild party with live music and DJs, a variety show featuring artists from the tik and the neighborhood, and hands-on activities to get creative yourself.
A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers and the local shops that support the festival. We look forward to seeing you—come on by!
