Premieren-Lesung "Triccs" von Marie Verse

We are proud to present Marie Verse, a debut author from Leipzig.
On September 11, we’ll celebrate the premiere of her novel “Triccs.”

They are sisters who train together four times a week and take the field for league games on the weekends. Their goal seems clear: one day, they want to become professional soccer players. But the older sister is beginning to have more and more doubts. Is soccer really everything in life? As she develops increasingly strong feelings for her coach, a game with entirely new rules suddenly begins for her. The younger sister also falls in love with a teammate, but hasn’t yet found the words to express her desire.

At times fast-paced and precise, at other times thoughtful and tentative, Marie Verse tells the story of two sisters who were always united by their passion but are now drifting apart. A novel about growing up, letting go, and the longing not to lose one’s footing entirely.
