Pressekonferenz und Networking-Event von Rausgegangen und der Stadt Köln: Projekt zur Barrierefreiheit

PICK OF THE DAY

You cannot miss this event.

In the organizer's words:

Short press conference & networking event for the cultural scene: If you want to go out, you first need to know if you can get in. Rausgegangen and the City of Cologne are introducing a new feature that makes information about the accessibility of events and venues more visible.

To this end, Rausgegangen has integrated the set of pictograms developed by the City of Cologne into its own platform. The symbols show at a glance what accessibility features and services are available at an event or venue. These include, for example, information on wheelchair accessibility, accessible restrooms, audio description, and more.

At the press conference, we’ll demonstrate how the feature works and how event organizers and venue operators can directly enter accessibility information. Afterward, there will be time for questions, discussion, and networking.

This get-together is explicitly open to more than just members of the press. Partners, event organizers, venue operators, cultural institutions, and members of the community are also invited. We’d like to discuss what information is truly needed before an event, where gaps still exist in practice, and how we can move forward together. We’ll also treat you to a drink.

The event is open to the public. Due to limited capacity, advance registration via a free ticket from Rausgegangen is required.
