🎬THE BEAUTY OF BALLROOM | SPECIAL PREVIEW | Cologne Odeon
Original Title: 10S ACROSS THE BORDERS
Performance & Q&A withAuroraSun LaBeija
The three voguers Xyza, Teddy, and Sun—who are also the mothers and fathers of various houses in Southeast Asia’s ballroom scene—share their personal journeys, the obstacles they’ve had to overcome, and a community that gives them and others strength, support, and a home.
A moving film about identity, solidarity, self-empowerment, and giving back to a community that has given them so much.
“The film captures what Ballroom has always offered: a space where marginalized people can establish their legitimacy and sense of belonging across identities, nations, and borders.”
