This event is part of the Pivot Sports Community, a public viewing series for women’s sports—a space for FLINTA* and queer communities to celebrate sports together, network, and have a good time. Pivot represents the growing movement centered around FLINTA* and queer sports spaces—and the increasing visibility and appreciation of FLINTA* sports and its culture. At the same time, these spaces are more than just places to watch: they become gathering spots where people can come together, exchange ideas, and connect with one another—regardless of whether they play sports themselves or not. Sports thus become a starting point for community, for new encounters, and for the feeling of being part of something together.
