The first leaves are already falling, the wind is blowing through the streets - fall is almost here! And what does that mean? Cozy vibes, pumpkin-spiced latte and queerfeminist lyrics, of course! 🍂🍁🍂

On 09.10. at 7 pm, we're hosting a cozy reading for everyone in our café on Rudolfplatz: bring your coziest sweater and best friends and let's cuddle up together while five wonderful artists share their texts with us. After the reading, we'll round off the evening with a few drinks, snacks and maybe a few new connections. 🫶🏻✨

Artists*:

DILLEN PAULI NIEDERT (er/they) studied theories and practices of professional writing, musicology and German studies in Cologne. His texts have appeared in literary journals and anthologies, e.g. Das Narr and Transcodiert. Since the pandemic, he has published the Kranke* Lyrik project online. Sometimes he also writes for podcasts.

MAXI THERESA (she/her) lives and writes in Cologne, where she also studies Theories & Practices of Professional Writing. Thematically, she prefers to deal with queer realities of life. She performs her texts on the city's stages, e.g. as part of lit.COLOGNE, at homochrom or Mit anderen Worten.

QUINN FUCHS (all Neopronomen): They writes texts, crafts collages or tinkers with sound, especially on the topics of queerness, disability and activism. Apart from that, hen organizes and moderates events at the poetry slam collective @veedelpoet_innen in Cologne and sometimes prints zines.

JANINE SAUER (she/her) lives in Cologne, where she studies theories and practices of professional writing. Alongside her studies, she works in publishing and is in the middle of revising her debut novel. Her literary work focuses on female realities, questions of identity and friendship.

JAKOB WEHNER (er/ihm) was born and raised in Leipzig. After a turbulent and creative period of study in some media program in Cologne, he now moves between self-ascriptions such as filmmaker, media educator and author of treasure questions. Jakob writes short stories, poems and poetry slams.
