Rap for woman life freedom: Stimmen aus der Haft
In the organizer's words:
On Wednesday, February 25, 2026 we return with Free_Human__ to the Wohngemeinschaft Köln. To the place where our solidarity event "RAP 4 WOMAN LIFE FREEDOM" for imprisoned artists such as Toomaj Salehi and Behrad Ali Konari took place in 2023.
And now we've come full circle: rapper Behrad Ali Konari is free and has been in Germany for a few weeks. He will read from his poetry collection and talk about his imprisonment, the conditions in prison and the current political situation in Iran in a moderated discussion. This will be followed by a live set: rap as testimony, as memory, as resistance.
