Movie content:
Twelve people - twelve nightmares, all of which revolve around the excesses of neoliberal turbo-capitalism. "In my dream, they looked more like zombies than colleagues," explains a male voice. "When you sell your soul to the devil, you have to negotiate the price," states another. "What use am I?" shouts another in despair. Where does that leave the human being and how do you not end up as an arbitrary cog in this completely deregulated market? Inspired by the dream interpretation classic by Jewish exile Charlotte Beradt ("The Third Reich of Dreams") and in long, artfully arranged tableaux, this aesthetically outstanding essay film poses extremely uncomfortable questions about the universally dominant global economic order.
