"Five voices, five languages, one attitude: the all-female-collective VROUW! comes from Berlin - and their music refuses any origin. The musicians use improvised material to form a network of sounds, voice and structure. Amplified everyday objects, self-made "microphone hats" and a bass that holds everything together - the result is a sound somewhere between punk, noise and ritual ambient. What seems spontaneous is precise listening, mutual reaction, bodywork. VROUW! understand performance as a queer, collaborative, non-hierarchical social practice. Anyone who jumps into the open on this evening will experience how chaos suddenly becomes form - and then disappears again. A rare moment of uncertainty that nevertheless carries"
