The spectacle Rock 'n' Roll Ringo tells the story of a scaffolder who loses his job and struggles to make ends meet as a temporary worker at the funfair. There he is tempted by a showman to make a career as a fairground boxer - and hopes to fulfill a long-awaited dream for his deaf daughter.

Dominik Galizia made his directorial debut in 2013 with the short film "Soulmate" about two "soulmate" couples whose paths cross in New York. In 2019, Dominik Galizia began work on Heiko's World, a feature film about the Berlin cult figure from the YouTube series of the same name.
