Kickoff of our Pupo Puppet Theater Days in Halbe:RONJA, THE ROBBER'S DAUGHTER
Life isn’t easy for a robber’s daughter, either. Her robber dad and his gang can’t behave themselves, the neighbor kids are a pain, and the Robber Forest is full of secrets. Still, Ronia the Robber’s Daughter sets out to become a real robber chief. If only it weren’t for her stubborn dad.
*Ronia the Robber’s Daughter*, based on Astrid Lindgren’s story, is a play set in not-so-dark times in not-so-dark forests.
Before the performance, we’ll dive into Ronja’s world ourselves. In the “Robber Worlds” workshop, we’ll invent and play—with people ages five and up, parents welcome—to explore what it feels like to be a robber, strong, and sassy. Or something completely different.
