Fairy tale for pre-school children based on the Brothers Grimm

Adapted for the stage by Eric Jacob and René Rothe

"Today I bake, tomorrow I brew, the day after tomorrow I get the queen her

child. Oh, how good it is that nobody knows my name is Rumpelstiltskin!"

This is the famous line from Rumpelstiltskin in the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale of the same name.

fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. But how did it come about that the beautiful

miller's daughter has to promise her child to the nasty little man?

to the nasty little man? How can anyone dare to claim that they can spin gold from straw?

spinning gold from straw. What does all this have to do with "The devil told you so!

told you!"? We shall see!

This very humorous version of the fairy tale "Rumpelstiltskin" is best suited

best suited for pre-school children. The fairy tale is performed with all its

characters by the two actors. Both of them embody

several characters in the course of the performance. It can happen that

that the seven little goats or Cinderella are asked for advice by the beautiful

miller's daughter for advice. And the audience is also often and

involved in the action.

And the adults are sure to have a great time too.
