Will climbing plants damage the façade? As a tenant, am I even allowed to plant greenery on the façade of my house? Is it possible to plant plants on the footpath? And how expensive and high-maintenance is greening a façade like this?

During the one-and-a-half-hour walk in the west of Leipzig, Kletterfix project manager Hannah Pilar Zimmermann not only shows good examples of greenery, but also dispels common prejudices. The tour also takes us to houses where Leipzig residents who have opted for climbing plants on their own façades await us. They will take us into their backyards, present their greenery and share their own experiences.

The event is part of the Climate Adaptation Week, is free of charge and suitable for all participants who are interested in green façades but still have many unanswered questions. Registration is not necessary: just come along and take part.
