Even in October, when the divided country celebrates its unity, the Dresden reading stage Sax Royal presents a new program on the stage of the Groove Station. On October 8th, starting at 7:30 pm, there will once again be a show as colorful as the autumn forest: comic stories about the intricacies of love, philosophical journeys of thought from the beer glass to the Milky Way, satirical attacks on the stupid men and women of the republic - there's a little bit of everything. There is also rhyming and singing. As always, the regular team will be on stage: Michael Bittner, Roman Israel, Max Rademann and Gesine Schäfer. The reading stage has also invited another guest, Caecilia.
Caecilia is a young singer-songwriter from Freiberg. In her songs, she searches for a balance between doubt and hope, between room for change and love for what she already has. Caecilia's poetic singer-songwriter German pop convinces with a mixture of clear and dreamy melodies and honest lyrics in which she unabashedly shows herself to be fragile, carried by her warm, deep voice. In 2022, she won a prize at the Treffen junge Musikszene and presented her songs at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. Caecilia's debut single "Anfang" was released in February 2024.
