scheitern.dreitausend are an indie rock band from the 'Bremen school', as the first ones start to say. They make loud-quiet rock music about getting older and being sad about it, about being stuck at home and being sad about it and about not belonging and being sad about it.

The scratchy discourse guitar is still just as necessary as it has been since the 90s. You want to sing along everywhere, you want to have such big feelings, you want to have your head blown out by distortion, and then feedback squeaks into your ear canal and all of a sudden it's as loud outside as it feels inside.

polyphonic pop vocals with scream elements. Between trash, depth and irony, the lyrics sail from the heart to the brain.

Born in Hamburg's subcultural scene as an anarcha-chanson duo in acoustic style, the band expanded into a rock band with electronic influence in 2023 with their 2nd album "Eternal Blame".
