Schirrmann´s Lunch & Musik mit KÜCHENROMANTIK

Schirrmann’s Lunch & Music
Have you heard of Schirrmann’s yet? You’ll find this extraordinary Bremen restaurant at the Bremen Youth Hostel—in a prime location on the Weser River and right in the heart of downtown. This is where the world comes together! That goes for the food, too: The kitchen serves up an exciting blend of “international” and “regional” flavors. You’ve got to try it!

MATTHIAS MONKA
Greetings from the Kitchen
MATTHIAS MONKA AND HIS PARTNER OLLI KRONHARDT ARE BACK

“Küchenromantik” is the name of the album trilogy by the exceptional Bremen-based musician and singer-songwriter Matthias Monka. “Küchenromantik” features tracks created during the lockdown in the kitchen of his collaborator, co-songwriter, and producer Oliver Kronhardt.
What makes this album special is that it captures exactly what the two musicians do live at a concert… namely, performing entirely live as a duo… which is precisely why “Küchenromantik” is perhaps the most authentic album Matthias and Olli have ever released.
The songs come across as light and unpretentious, telling wonderfully profound stories in a relaxed, serene way—so relaxed, in fact, that you could theoretically perform these songs right in the kitchen…

Starting in August 2024, we’ll be offering you a special opportunity to do just that every other Sunday: at “Schirrmann’s Lunch & Music.”
You can look forward not only to à la carte delicacies, our varied buffet, coffee specialties, tea, and pastries with a view of the Weser, but also live music from musicians from Bremen and the surrounding area, who perfectly round out the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. And during the summer months, every 4th Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., enjoy the sunset on the rooftop terrace! We look forward to seeing you! Free admission.

Musicians wishing to apply ( please submita comprehensive and completeapplication —no “Hey, I’d like to play sometime”) should email info@emotional.zone
