An evil sorcerer has turned the beautiful young princess Odette into a swan when she ventured too close to the shore of his lake. Near the lake is an old castle where a beautiful princess lives with her son Siegfried. Prince Siegfried is magically attracted by the beautiful swans in the lake. He has no idea that they are actually young girls, all transformed into swans by the evil sorcerer, who always take on human form for an hour at midnight. Prince Siegfried falls in love with Princess Odette and learns from her the secret of her transformation, and that only through the love and loyalty of a man can she be released from the spell....
