In the organizer's words:
Celebrated as one of the greatest jazz pianists during his lifetime, Michel Petrucciani's unique musical legacy is often under-appreciated today. His compositions - full of melody, lyrical power and deeply rooted in the jazz tradition - have long deserved their place in the modern repertoire.
This specially assembled quartet puts Petrucciani's genius in the spotlight and dedicates two complete sets exclusively to his original works: accessible, moving and filled with the spirit of jazz.
