SEKT AND THE CITY—An exhilarating spectacle featuring powerful songs, flashy costume changes, whimsical role-playing, captivating dance numbers, plenty of guts, and lots of sparkling wine. Three best friends in their prime meet regularly to discuss the truly important topics: figures and hairstyles, well-researched articles in “Gala” and “Bunte,” and an unvarnished look at themselves, with the realization: “It’s crazy expensive to look so cheap!” After several “toasts” with “a little sparkling wine,” Lena, Heike, and Kati find the courage to transform themselves from the ground up once again. It all starts with a trip to the hairdresser’s, because there the three women can be truly shameless and honest. Is it okay for a woman to wash her best friend’s hair, or would that be insensitive? What do logarithms have to do with curlers, and why can’t heat waves be used to generate energy?
