Experience a special evening at the FITZ! Theater - short, exciting performances in the middle of the city!
The SHORTIES format presents short pieces from puppet theater, contemporary dance and film every two months. Each edition brings new, thematically linked contributions to the stage.
And afterwards? The bar with outdoor area in the Kulturareal passage invites you to linger - stay for a drink and chat with the artists.

Puppet theater study program HMDK Stuttgart/ Klappe auf!
Four folding mouth figures show their creators. Motivated by puppeteers and directors Professor Florian Feisel and Professor Stephanie Rinke, and coached by the queen of textile humanity Mechtild Nienaber, third and fourth year students on the puppet theater course have dared to encounter themselves in their uninhibited version.

Bar Gonen, Thinner Skin
Between all that we are and the possibility of sharing it, there is a gap that cannot be filled. We are all lonely in a way - separated in bodies that no one can touch: the intangible vastness of our existence. This loneliness stems from the assumption that a human being cannot truly communicate with another human being. The feeling of existence is so unique and alien that it cannot be shared with anyone - just as one cannot participate in the meaning of another person's existence.
