In BEYOND THE GOLDEN LINE, an injured Black transmasculine pole dancer is interrupted by mysterious phone calls as he prepares to perform. What if the magic of his pole dancing offered him the chance to reconnect with the people he loves? WE WILL BE WHO WE ARE introduces us to best friends Aya and Boi, who decide to marry each other to escape the constraints of society. A lyrical and urgent call to reflect on who we are and who we want to be. ALEYA, a trans woman, moved from Cairo to Berlin shortly after her transition. The portrait shows how she has to cope with the loss of loved ones, dispossession by her family and hormonal and psychological turbulence. At the center of F**KED is a
married lesbian couple in an open relationship trying to deal with their curiosity and newfound freedom. When everything is suddenly on the table, where are the boundaries? HIS BODY is an homage to blaxploitation and tells of the supernatural encounter between two ex-lovers on a night of soul music. In SIS, a surrealist comedy, a woman's curiosity about her ex-lover's new girlfriend complicates after they cosmically bump into each other at a Brooklyn rooftop party.
