SILENT WRITING - Gedanken festhalten, Ideen folgen und kreatives Journaling

Shared silence creates space for writing—without guidelines and without a

specific goal. Inspired by journaling (German: Tagebuch schreiben),

, you’ll have 45 minutes to jot down thoughts, explore ideas,

, or simply observe what wants to find its way onto the paper. If you’d like,

can wrap up the quiet writing session by designing a postcard.

Temporary Sociocultural Space

In the summer of 2026, the Cameo Kollektiv e.V.—which has been creating new spaces

for quiet encounters since 2023, and the Faust Cultural Center e.V., a key player in

the Linden-Nord neighborhood. In the bustling Küchengarten, the “Space for

Encounter” is taking shape—a space dedicated to encounters where, in addition,

low-threshold cultural and workshop offerings can be held. The goal is

not only to invite the neighborhood to engage locally,

but also to ask them about their wishes for public spaces and local culture

and to empower them to actively participate in shaping these spaces.
