Rooted in a bilingual childhood, singer and lyricist Sinan Köylü writes songs in German and Turkish that fill the room with their richness of sound, poetic quality and beauty and put common language clichés of German and Turkish to rest. Music that matters. Music that wants to grab the audience, wake them up and shake them up. Driving beats, an unusually deep voice that suddenly breaks out into falsetto, minimalist guitars and a cathartic vibe characterize the music of SINU and are reminiscent of great role models such as Bon Iver, Ben Howard, Ry X.
