Solidarity Session: Kultur trifft Aktivismus

On September 20, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m., the Cologne Donation Convoy and Medical Solidarity International (MSI) invite you to the second Solidarity Session at the shared apartment. In a relaxed atmosphere, we’d like to bring together people who are curious, want to exchange ideas, and at the same time learn more about the situation of refugees at Europe’s external borders.

Visitors can look forward to a diverse program featuring live music, a panel discussion, and exciting hands-on activities—from linoleum printing and a craft corner to other creative offerings. And anyone who’d like to can even get a tattoo on-site in exchange for a donation. There will also be solidarity drinks, space for personal conversations, and, above all, the opportunity to spend a relaxed and special afternoon together.

The Solidarity Sessions thus create a space where political education, artistic expression, and civic engagement come together—supported by two Cologne-based initiatives that have been active at Europe’s external borders for many years. Whether you’re here to listen, participate, exchange ideas, or just enjoy a coffee or a Kölsch—come on by and be part of a spirit of solidarity!
